Directions to Campus
Yonsei University Mirae Campus is located in Wonju city in the Gangwon province, about one and a half hours southeast of Seoul and one and a half hours west of the eastern coast. Yonsei University Mirae Campus has its Medical School in the downtown area (Ilsan) of Wonju city, and the IPAID office and other departments are located in the southern part (Heungeop-Myeon) of the city.
International Visitors Coming by Plane
The Inchoen International Airport (ICN) is about 2½~3 hours from the Mirae Campus by vehicle.
Visitors Coming by Interstate Bus
There is interstate express bus service from all major cities to Wonju. If you come from the Seoul Metropolitan Area, the interstate express bus departs both from Seoul Gyeongbu Bus Terminal to Wonju every 15-40 minutes from 06:00 to 23:00 at the cost of 7,700 Korean Won (as of Feburuary 2022).
At the Wonju Bus Terminal, take a taxi to the Yonsei University Mirae Campus.
Driving from the SEOUL AREA
- Take the Geongbu Highway South (IH-1) and take Exit 45 to the Yeongdong Highway East (IH-50) in the Singal area. Drive east on IH-50 for about 60 kilometers into Wonju.
- Depending on your location in Seoul, take alternatively the Chungbu Highway South (IH-35 or IH-37) and take Exit 36 to the Yeongdong Highway East (IH-50) toward Gangneung in the Hobeop area. Drive east on IH-50 for about 30 kilometers into Wonju.
- Next take Exit 21A onto the Chungang Highway (IH-55) for Exit 31 to South Wonju. After the tollgate, take the second right turn onto the ramp for Chungju city. The campus is located approximately 6 kilometers straight ahead.

Drive on the Yeongdong Highway West (IH-50) toward Wonju and Seoul. Take Exit 21A onto the Chungang Highway (IH-55) for Exit 31 to South Wonju. After the tollgate, take the second right turn onto the ramp for Chungju city. The campus is located approximately 6 kilometers straight ahead.
Driving from the SOUTH
If you are coming from southern cities like Daejeon and Daegu, we recommend that you take the Chungbu Highway North (IH-35), the Chungbu Inland Highway North (IH-45) or the Chungang Highway North (IH-55) to the Yeongdong Highway (IH-50). Drive on IH-50 and take Exit 21A onto the Chungang Highway (IH-55) for Exit 31 to South Wonju. After the toll booths, take the second right turn onto the ramp for Chungju city. The campus is located approximately 6 kilometers straight ahead.
Visitors Coming by Train
At the Wonju Railroad Station, take a taxi to the Yonsei University Mirae Campus. Taxi Stands can be found immediately outside the station.
